A: All of the products you see in our catalog here at TinyLightbulbs come from, well, people. People who had a great idea and decided to not just sit with it, but run with it. These ideas may have been funded through crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter, IndieGoGo, RocketHub, and the like. Some of them didn't come about through crowdfunding, but rather other independent means. All of these products have one thing in common, though. They've all been born in the minds of great innovators.
A: Crowdfunding is a relatively young phenomenon that has been completely changing the ways that ideas are made into a reality. Before crowdfunding, anyone with a great idea either had to take out a loan or seek help from venture capitalists to finance their project and get it off the ground. Now, things are different. Crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter, IndieGoGo, and RocketHub allow individuals with great ideas to accrue the initial necessary funds by accepting small amounts of money from a large amount of everyday people, in return for providing those same people with rewards, such as the final product when the idea has taken shape and been produced.
A: Yes! All products offer shipping worldwide, unless otherwise noted on the product page.
A: We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
A: All orders are shipped within 3 business days. It's also important to remember that not all products on TinyLightbulbs ship from the same place, as orders are shipped straight from the inventor of the product. This means that, if you place an order for multiple products at once, it is likely each product will arrive separately.
A: The circuits and wires behind TinyLightbulbs automatically send a confirmation email as soon as an order has been placed and payment has been processed. If you placed an order and haven’t received one of these, please check your junk folder and make sure to add our email address (hello@tinylightbulbs.com) to your safe list so that you can be sure to receive all future emails from us.
A: We’re living in the 21st century, which means you can find us on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest. Connect with us on any of these networks to stay updated on the latest and greatest innovations found at TinyLightbulbs. *(We also have a pretty neat newsletter, where we’ll feature exclusive interviews with the creators of some of the awesome products on TinyLightbulbs AND where you’ll be given the opportunity to earn FREE stuff!) Subscribe in the sidebar for all this and more.

A: It's simple! Just click the "Sell With Us" link at the top of the page, or click here and fill out a product submission form. It'll only take a few minutes. Once we receive your submission, we'll review it and, if your product is approved, we will publish it on TinyLightbulbs.
A: No, we are happy to accept all products that are categorized as indie. While a majority of our products have come about through crowdfunding, we love to find awesome products that have been born through other independent means. So if you have a product that can be considered indie, we’d love to welcome you aboard!
A: TinyLightbulbs products aren’t just simply sold through our site. Our team actively and aggressively markets the products in our catalog through a variety of different channels, ensuring that we generate as many sales for our sellers as possible. Also, we may be biased, but we think that our customers are some of the coolest around. Why’s that? Most of our customers are already familiar with the concept of crowdfunding, which means that they’re more likely to support crowdfunded and indie products (that means products like yours).
A: Our system will generate a fulfillment email the instant an order is placed and payment has cleared. Once you've received the fulfillment email, you're cleared to ship the order to the customer.
A: We send payments through PayPal. When you register your product with TinyLightbulbs, you’ll be asked whether you’d like to receive payments monthly (the 1st of each month) or bi-weekly (the 1st and 15th of each month).
A: We don’t hold any inventory of the products in our catalog, as we use a drop shipping model for fulfillment. If you’re not familiar with drop shipping, it basically means that we handle all aspects of the order (including the processing of payment), while you just have to ship the product to the customer. This allows us to allocate more of our resources to advertising and marketing your innovation!
A: We're glad you asked. Sites like eBay require full maintenance on your part in order to sell your product. And you'll pay fees regardless of whether or not you're making sales. With us, we only get paid when you do. There are absolutely no fees associated with simply having your product on TinyLightbulbs. We charge a small commission, but only when sales are made.
What about e-commerce sites such as Amazon? A significant way we're different in this aspect is that we're actively advertising specific products that we feature. Sites like Amazon simply host the products, while we aggressively market our catalog. This is accomplished through a variety of marketing methods such as contacting bloggers, writing reviews about products as well as uploading video reviews on them, and occasionally posting specific Google/Facebook ads that link directly to your product page. In other words, you just have to sit back while we do the grunt work. Sounds pretty great, right?
